Typically as many as a judge orders. Best to stay clean. Though a little weed when away from your daughter doesn't cause any parenting issues, any criminal activity will not go over well in court.

You smoke weed it's a person choice IMO but it's not legal in most cases.

If you know in advance and chose weed over your kid you don't deserve your kid.

Anyways how many test are they aloud to do ?

The judges decision. A find had to do weakly screenings after posting a pro marijuana thing on his FB.

The moment my ex mentioned the words "drugs" in one of her affidavits I immediately and voluntarily took a drug test at my own expense and submitted it with my "affidavit in response" seven days later.

I didn't wait until she filed a motion to force me to take a drug test.

If I'd waited until a motion was passed, and I was forced to take a test, it would've looked like I was reluctant to take the test or stalling for time, and she would have claimed that I'd just stopped taking drugs because I knew I was going to be forced to take a test.

Because I chose to get tested at my own expense, I was able to look at the results first, before deciding whether to submit them to the court (just for my own peace of mind). I attached the results to my affidavit and wrote (in polite court speak) something equivalent to "this bitch is full of shit, and here's the evidence to prove it".

i.e. Get tested privately first (by a proper drug testing company, not some home kit from the pharmacy), if you like the results submit them to the court.. If you don't like the results, don't tell the court you've taken a test, and stop smoking weed.

If you submit results to court, and she continues to request further drug tests, point out that you've already paid for one drug test, request that she pay for any further testing. And request that she also be drug tested.

Pre-emptively getting tested before she even filed a motion to force me, (slightly) undermined her credibility in court and permanently shut down accusations of drug use for the remainder of the case.

Be aware that the Family Court is very one sided. While accusations of drug use against you will be taken seriously, any accusations of drug use that you make against her will likely be ignored by the court unless you have irrefutable evidence to back them up, or used as evidence against you, that you're aggressive or untrustworthy. (i.e She's allowed to attack you, you're not allowed to attack her)

depending on your country/ state, any time she decides to call child youth services to make your life less than fun.

In all honesty, you better off just quiting for a few years.
