If you didn't notice, most men are not 6'2" and 250. One of the physical differences between the genders is not that one of them is always 6'2" and 250.

Incidentally, that men are in any way more protected from weapons is also not one of the differences.

Non-threatening harassment is always going to be mostly female-oriented in most places. But if you're talking about actual physical assault, and related crimes, then I'd like to point out that men are more likely to get attacked! Which is still not very often! Hollaback is a rubbish site and a poor substitute for an actual study.

And if you're deciding how risky a place is from anything but an actual study, you're doing something wrong.

These situations are mutually identical. Any feelings added onto these experience are from the expectations of the participants involved. If the only difference between a casual (though possibly inappropriate) flirtatious remark and an attempted rape is through the participant, then there is a problem with the preconceived notions of the participant.

Let's separate two things. Men practically never get harassed in the streets by women, like women get harassed by men - if you are stupid enough to consider a whistle or a comment "harassment". Women knew for many millennia how to handle these things (many of them enjoy it actually), and most of them still do, feminists being the only real exception. Apart from extreme cases feminist claims are unfounded, this somewhat uncultured method of praising female beauty is not some tool in a secret patriarchal conspiracy to oppress women. Girls should learn to live with it. No, really. If your foremothers could do it for 3 million years you too will be fine. Don't demand the whole world to change just because you think maybe you might feel a bit more comfortable if it did.

But men are more often attacked in the streets by criminals, ie. objectively speaking they are in more danger than women. Muggers, robbers, thiefs tend to operate by their basic genetic programming that harming women is a no-no. So they attack men despite men being stronger and more dangerous targets. Makes you think about feminist accusations, doesn't it? Even male criminals are predisposed to avoid hurting women.

So, basically women have this irrational fear that there's something out there looking for them while in reality they are in less danger than men. Of course this must not be confused with "street harassment" which is actually a load of bulldust anyway, just the standard feminist bashing of men and male sexuality. How dare you look at her you dirty pig?

Edit: but let me ask you, what does any of this have to do with fascism??? And I didn't see you banned or anything, care to elaborate?
