Was debating on FB about Feminism not being an equal rights movement when this gem of a comment was written;

"Do the vast majority of men who are ruled by patriarchy do anything about it? Nope, we don't. Why? Because societal conformity causes us to support the existing stereotypes by rote. It takes effort to realize what has been conditioned culturally and discard it a illogical.

As for the problems of us white males...what of them? Our problems are lessened in magnitude due to instiutional weight and preference in our direction. I've skated like pig grease through problems that are completely devastating to minorities, including white women. How? By making use of my male privilege, even if I didn't realize what it was at the time.

Let's face it: your basic problem with feminism is due to feminism balancing the playing field...and now that you have less insitutional weight cushioning you, you complain you have 'problems that need to be addressed'. In reality, it is just bitterness that you don't have an easier path to Top Dog anymore - and that path is getting less and less attainable as you have to compete with more people than you did previously.

My sympathy for you is, frankly, non-existent."

And thus the reason for the MRM because men's problems are irrelevant.
