In theory , feminism means the equal rights of all genders however this is just one theory and to be fair this is a misnomer , feminists have never advocated for male issues or even egalitarian solutions.

It all starts with first-wave feminism and to be fair even though they were unegalitarian , the movement itself should be supported by everyone , as think of it like this , how could women in the 1920's possibly qualify for drafting? But even so , this shows that feminism is for womens rights and thats great however feminists should stop cowering under the facade that feminism also helps men ( it never has ) , because atleast we admit that we are furthering our own rights and thats not bad , however this belief that feminists are egalitarian or that feminism in practice has been egalitarian is not true , does this mean all feminists are misandrists?

No , they're just furthering their own rights , like us.

Because if they were truly and I mean truly egalitarian , they would either advocate for the aboliotion of the draft or the extension of the draft to women ( in non-combat roles and , possibly even if they were pure egalitarians , combat roles ) .

Take a look at the abortion laws of the states , if feminists were truly egalitarian they would advocate for equal paternal rights , as egalitarian by definiton means , " believing in or based on the principle that all people are equal and deserve equal rights and opportunities".

Basically if you are a egalitarian you would want to give men and women the exact same rights or atleast as similar as you possibly can however taking a look at first - wave feminism , they did not advocate the egalitarian solution and even the second-wave does this worse , abortion is only the right of the mother and can either be done/not done by the mother and nobody else.

So to conclude feminism is for womens rights , MRA is for mens rights.
