Recordings are excellent ways to present evidence if this is happening and eventually causes legal action.

So keep recording and save it all.

If this is what you’re experiencing this is no way to live.

You may have to end up saying something or calling CPS.

Hey bud, strongly don’t recommend making your age public as it may attract predators. They tend to seek out young boys like yourself who are going through a really rough time.

It’s totally fine to ask for help but just keep your age private for safety reasons. I got nothing against men’s rights, but we are online and don’t know who’s safe and who’s not.

Next, sorry you’re going through this. Document as much evidence as you can without putting yourself in harms way.

If your dad is looking to get out, then maybe go to him. If not, find a safe person to go to that will help you get away from your mom.

I’ve been through this exact thing with my mom. She has bpd. I unfortunately wouldn’t get away from her until I turned 22. At this age I graduated college and got my first full time job so I could support myself.

Dude let me say, the sooner you get out the better. I hope you have other family that will take care of you.

Again not sure where your dad stands in all this but I hope he realizes that it’s best for the kids that the mom is out of the picture.

Geez, wish I knew what to say. I want to say go to the police, but will they listen to a 14 year old? About the best idea I can come up with is go to child services, whatever they call the people in your jurisdiction who look out for the welfare of children. That is the best thing I can come up with, and good luck young man.

Make sure she cannot get to the recordings to delete them or destroy whatever device they are saved on, make plenty of copies. If it happens again keep recording it and keeping the recordings safe, but above all keep yourself safe until you can get out of that situation. If your parents are married your dad needs to start talking to lawyers about getting a divorce and not be telling your abuser about it, it is well passed being able to save any kind of marriage and as a minor you'll likely need his help to create a safe place for you to live away from the abuse which your dad won't be able to do while still married and living with your mother while she is abusing you. Also make sure to go with your dad to file a police report with the evidence, also both you and your dad should start the process for getting a restraining order against her as you are filing the police report. Family court will still likely view your father as the bad parent and try to award primary custody to your mother regardless of having proof that she is abusive and nothing substantiating any false accusations that she will be throwing at your dad. You are old enough that you should be able to demand to talk to the judge directly and write letters stating you do not want your mother to have custody because of her abuse and get it signed and notorized while you are in a safe environment away from either parent so the court can't attempt to label it as you being coerced by your father.

I hope you are able to get her help for the threats of suicide, even though she is abusing you it will still be psychologically scarring to see your mother do that, but neither you nor your father should be letting those threats keep you trapped in the abuse.
