I have a question for you, once again, I'm not a troll, just trying to navigate this world with the prevalent misandry I see by asking questions I feel like get lost in the details. So to start, I've been recently reading up on a few studies done by researchers on the satisfaction of gay and lesbian relationships and the findings were pretty startling... I know some people in this reddit like to claim that lesbian relationship are worse off than gay male relationships(a testament to the inherit toxicity of women), but I want to challenge that by what I found... In one study, women reported having better communication and more attempts at dissolving boundaries that bring intimacy compared to men. In lesbian relationships, they reported having the most communication and emotional intimacy in their relationships than gay men. They also had higher reports of responding to their partner's emotional needs.

In another study, gay men reported having more anxiety and avoidance attachment styles to their partners than lesbian women, and were also more likely than lesbian women(but less likely than heterosexual pairs) to report a lower rate of relationship and sexual satisfaction. Though the study does acknowledge that this could be because of the greater rates of homophobia that target gay men more than lesbians.

In this study, though gay men and lesbians were generally the same with practicing good conflict resolution with their partners, lesbian women "worked together especially harmoniously during the laboratory tasks" when it came to communication styles and solving conflicts.

There are also other studies that showed that lesbian relationships are more loving, intimate, communicative, and satisfying than gay male relationships. That gay men tend to be in competition more with their romantic partners, and gay men preferred to keep their "feelings" to themselves instead of confiding in their partner. And lesbian women are more likely to report a greater sexual satisfaction and sexual compatibility than gay men. Also, lesbian women out of all romantic pairings (straight or gay) were the least likely to be in an open relationship, gay men were the most likely. So what are your thoughts? Do you think gay men are "worse off" in a relationship than gay women? Do you think that toxic masculinity or stoicism forced upon men at a young age contribute to their overall happiness and well being in any relationship? Do you think men CAN be as communicative and emotionally open as women, or is it biological/driven by testosterone that they are "less emotional" so to speak? Are men really less loving than women and are two women in a relationship the "ideal" pairing? And what are thoughts on the studies and their methods(for my more sciency folks)?
