2 years ago, in 8th grade i was falsely accused of sexual assault. i lost my rep, friends and partner. it went on for 6 months (sept 22 - mar 23), and it ended when my parents pressured the school to make my accuser apologize to me.

but when the day came for my accuser to apologize, they threatened me infront of the teachers. saying that if i dont aologize to them too, their parents would report me to the principal. at the end, i had to apologize to my accuser, who ruined my life.

thankfully i recovered now in socially. not the 'partner' part but i got a lot new friends now. even with the popular kids somehow.

however, i never fully recovered mentally. every small thing reminds me of how much i lost from the whole drama. since the day i was accused, i keep having dreams of my accuser. usually they just appear and give me some evil stares, but sometimes they talk about the drama again. the dreams kinda died down these past few months.

but exactly a week ago, i had a dream where my accuser randomly started talking about the accusatiosn agian, infrot of a full classroom. in that moment**, i felt some chest pains that lasted around 30 seconds, diffuclty breathing, and heart rate increasing like im running**. i read that its a panic attack so i dont have to worry about the heart attack part. keep in mind that i havent thought of the drama for days at that point.

but is it normal to still contineu having dreams like this? how can i move on from this whole thing? people say "forgive & forget" but how exactly?
