I was married for a very short period of time. She loves drugs such as meth and abusing prescription medication and was extremely abusive. I could not even get her to clean up while she was pregnant. When my son was only a couple months old she had not slept in weeks and I caught her screaming at him and throttling him because he could not get his arm in a onesie she was putting on him. We now have 50-50 custody. Last December she took him into a hospital claiming bugs were coming out of his skin. She was pinching him and clawing at him to get the bugs out. My son was only a-year-old. Poor little dude had scabs all over him from her picking at him. The doctors called Child protective services, baker acted her, etc. She Peed clean for two months and Child protective services dropped the case. I have spent 25 grand in court but she is inherently wealthy. Shuts me down every time we go to court. I’ve tried filing for an emergency motion and the judge admitted later in court that he had not even read the medical report. I’ve tried pleading to the guardian ad litem. I’m out of money and I’m desperate. I’m trying to avoid a scenario where my son ends up in an oven and a turkey ends up in his crib. I make too much to qualify for free legal services, but barely enough to keep a roof over our head and his stomach full. What should I do?
