I don't know if I've been on Reddit or just the internet so long, but it's made me hate being a guy. It sucks. I don't know who to tell and it's hard not having anyone to go to. I don't like the way people talk about men with all the stuff they say and... I don't know, really.
To the women reading this, I know how it feels. You could argue I have it better but we're still experiencing the same thing. And I'm sorry for you.
But, back to the point, it's hard. It really is. There was a Men's Rights Protest in Australia, 2019, I think, and it got protested against. Yes. It got protested against. The people in the Men's Rights Protest were called sexist, racist, homophobic, etc. without any evidence. And that, sadly, isn't the only time.
But, back to the point, it's hard. It really is. I see all the stuff about how all men are rapists and abusers and I'm beginning to look at myself that way. I see all the stuff about manspreading (I just found out that it's illegal to manspread in some countries, wtf) and that stuff and as much as I want to explain that we have private parts, I don't want to. That's the bad thing about this. I can't stop it. No one can.
Except for them. Who? The people who automatically think all men are rapists. The people who automatically think that if one person does something bad to them, and they happen to be a man, they blame every guy. There's the #killallmen and #metoo stuff they get looked at as empowering (that's right, #killallmen is seen EMPOWERING). And when they all say that men are rapists we started that #notallmen which was canceled and laughed at and mocked and there were jokes about and people making videos complaining about it and people making fun of men by saying stuff like "oh, yeah, you go in there and make the argument about you" and it's looked down upon and no one says that about the #killallmen thing and it's driving me up the walls and I don't know what to do or how to help or stop or tell people the actual meaning or tell them that if they understand they'll know what we're going through even though it won't do anything and we just have to wait for it to stop and yes I know it has but, dude, come on, please stop. We can barely talk about our emotions without being made fun of.
Actually, as soon as you even talk about our Men's Problems women or feminists I don't care start to complain about how hard it is to be a girl and how men have it so good and then make posts and songs and it gets hard to deal with after a while. It gets hard to have emotions in a society that prohibits them. It gets hard. It is hard, yet no one seems to understand it.
And sometimes you feel like giving up, you know?
