Not only that but the gender expectations seem to be relaxed on girls/women. They can be feminine or masculine today without any social ridicule or criticism. In fact, usually women are cheered on when going into masculine endeavors.

Sports? Expected? How?
I played 2 years of soccer unprofessionally. I wasn't expected to nor was I given heat for not playing.
Pink and purple are 'bright and girly colors' though. I wouldn't wear them for my own reasons. I don't like animals in a pet capacity but many animals do taste good. Not suggesting that your neighbor's pet is good for that but you get what I'm saying. I help my mother in weeding, planting, and maintaining a garden and lots of various flowers around her yard. She can't do anymore and to a degree, I like the work.
Forget what society wants you to do (mostly).

I once said that I'm gonna get a pink Lamborghini when I'm older and people were laughing that I shouldn't get a pink one because it's not manly and calling me gay.

I will get my pink ~~Lamborghini~~ car in the future.

As a vegetarian, I hear you. The societal pressure for men to eat animal corpses, or else they're "not real men", is off-the-charts. Just be who you want.
