Using megadata to measure social movements is not a valid methodology, given most major social media platforms actively censor contributions by the public.

Men's Rights, in my view, is moving from being a fringe group in our communities, to being a valid movement in response to feminist extremism.

As feminism gains a more dominant role in public discourse, policy development and education, the fundamentally sexist nature of this hate based ideology is being personally experienced by larger numbers of people. More people are finding feminist ideology to be sexist, unreasonable and unpalatable. Feminists are in a panic to distance feminism from its hate based practice and reinforce it's dictionary definition, equality of sexes.

MRAs are still frequently treated like strange misogynous fanatics in the media. But as the scientific evidence repeatedly undermines the self evident "truths" that underpin feminist mythology, and more people are questioning cancel culture and the silencing of male voices, MRAs are one of the few sources of men's stories that remain uncensored by feminist academics. Feminist academics are desperate to control the gender dialogue are attempting to morph feminism into a movement for men, in order to become the voice for men and mascuinity. This isn't about feminism, but the hunger of feminist academics to maintain their power and control over their intellectual and ideological domain, gender politics.

I think it is, little by little.

Several figures in the current US Presidential administration have actually met with men's rights activists. Education Secretary Betsy Devos met with the NCFM, and Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar met with Warren Farrell.

So the men's rights movement is actually getting acknowledgement from people in power nowadays, even if only a little bit here and there.

No, they're in fact noticeably worse. The interesting thing as they ger worse I think more and more people will gravitate towards the movement but I don't think that's enough to offset the balance of what's happening.

I'm going to be honest with you, MRAs don't seem to ever actually do anything or make any real effort to change things. As far as I've seen, Most MRA activity is Reddit post and Youtube videos.

In fact, whenever someone tries to take direct action as an MRA, they're quickly disavowed by the community. It's a self-defeating ideology in many ways.

There have been a few positive steps made, which have not really changed anything. For example the male only draft was ruled unconstitutional, but the judge did not issue an injunction to the selective service to act constitutionally, so nothing has changed.

On the other hand, feminism has made huge progress. so it's 1 step forward and 100 steps back.

So overall, the answer is we are not only not making progress, we are losing ground daily.

Are we growing in popularity?

The sub is, I remember when it was less than 200k members. I guess that's something.

Its mainly online voice. MRA needs to form real organization and gain political position within the system to truely make real difference. Until that, feminist are making progress everyday, for the very same reason, they basically controls the system, with massive organization to back it.

If anything, the feminism movement has galvanized opposition towards our ideals.

However, culturally, people are generally speaking more receptive to the idea that men are disadvantaged in some ways. Not necessarily the right ways. They seem to be more concerned with feminist concerns like "why don't men cry" and other equally shallow quandaries. But it's a start.
