Yeah, I get it—it's mostly coping, I guess. When people hear these kinds of stories over and over, a lot of guys start feeling real resentment toward women in general. It's human nature: you put yourself in the victim's shoes, imagine the injustice, and desperately want some kind of satisfying outcome where the wrongdoer actually faces consequences. That "he should've finished her first" comment isn't really about wanting violence—it's just raw frustration screaming for justice in a system that rarely delivers it for men. Sad part is, it pushes some dudes into dark places instead of fixing the root problem.

It is said cause that's the only way he'll get justice. Laws are against men. People still think only women get r*ped, men never goes through it. Even if a man takes his own life no one cares. So vote for political party that supports men's rights same way they supprts women's rights and women empowerment.

It's not really victim blaming. It comes from a feeling of frustration. It works on the logic of doing the best with the worst hand you have been dealt. You, as a male victim won't be getting justice anyway and your abusers will enjoy a happy life without any consequences, so the only thing you can do is basically that.

That's where this sentiment comes from.

I don't think it's victim blaming as much as it is just someone more reasonable thinking than someone not, having already made their choice.

We say hindsight is 20 20. If someone who decided to take "VTO" didn't off the people who made them feel that way, it ultimately feels to those on the outside that they respect those people more than they respect themselves and their own life. I'll speak for myself when I say that shouldn't be the case.

I can't call them dumb, they probably don't know how low it feels either. When you feel nobody will miss you, you being gone theoretically won't do any harm but them being gone likely would, and it could be just them caring about factors that the people who made them feel that bad clearly didn't care about.

There was a little kid who was insulted by his teacher and took his own life. I think that opinion of value is applicable here, because if he was a "stupid" kid, him being gone would make class better for everyone. I literally do not agree with that or what happened, but I understand why that happens when someone you're expected to confide in makes abysmal choices and isn't aware of how influential they are to a child's life. In addition, you're not American so some of us have an evolved opinion about this since we have school shooters... So if people like that are going out there offing random people, why wouldn't they have thought to... Get the people who hurt them instead of hurt new people instead?

Maybe the places where you visit are devaluing the victim's choice. But typically the understanding I've always gotten from these situations is that we're all saying what WE would do. Not really insulting what they've been through, just stating how we would have handled it if we were in a similar situation.

I think if anyone is saying “he/she shouldve taken someone with them during suicide” is a line that crosses into an extremely unhealthy/incel type of pursuit of mens rights. Like im pretty open and fearless about talking about how shit is going down in the culture/gender wars but this post finding a way to cutely introduce this as “something people are saying”’or if god forbid theres people actually saying this as if its a normal thing to say is pretty fucked.

Op Who is saying this and what mod group or if this is real life, which organisation is allowing that to be said, because its calling for a murder-suicide. I have heard victim blaming about not letting the harassment happen, but no one saying he should have finished her.

The prime age for male suicide is 35 to early 50s because these are the divorce years. Yes no one cares that men off themselves 8X more often than women. Go see a therapist. The therapist can teach you how to think like a woman and be a feminist.
