Based on what I recall from various psych papers on the topic...

There's generally a history of childhood physical and/or sexual abuse by women, so what makes these men think it's "OK" is it being demonstrated at a very young age that this sort of behaviour was "OK" when it was done to them.

Solution? Treat women as equals. For instance, when a woman in a drunken rage attempts to murder someone in the street because he didn't respond to her lewd catcalls... maybe give her more than a $100 fine. More generally, when a woman convicted of a crime is before the court for sentencing, being responsible for the care of young children should be considered as an aggravating factor, if considered at all.

I wonder if the spike in false rape accusations give him pause for reflection about what it is in his country that makes women think it's okay to ruin the lives of men either for their own personal benefit or just for attention. Until he can say it does, he should stop making murder, assault, and theft a gender issue and just treat it like any other crime.

What should give you pause is that instead of putting the blame where it belongs, ie. with the killers, you immediately leap to generalizing the guilt for these acts to an entire sex. Yes, that degree of bigotry really should give you pause. Maybe, in fact, you should pause a bit more and put a bit of thought into what you've just said, you raging sexist.
