I have custody of my children and in the divorce I was awarded child support and my wife was awarded two days a week visitation and 4 weeks in the summer. Also most holidays.
She does not take the kids for any of these times. She sees them for about 2 hours once every 2 weeks. This caused a lot of problems with our daughter but that is not the advice I am seeking.
In my head I am thinking that the child support was figured with the thought in mind that she would be providing for them during these times. It is costing me 1000s of dollars extra a year to take care of my kids.
Do you think it is possible to go back and get the order changed for more child support and also get the order that we go every other year on claiming the kids on taxes. Why should she get to claim them when she is not seeing them.
Just frustrated I guess.
EDIT this is in Kansas. No way I can afford a lawyer to take her back to court. suggestions please.
