I just had a long trip by train in the UK and you know what I didn't see? manspreading men.

Am I wrong for thinking that campaigns are mostly just a passive aggressive way of getting what you want?

If you think someone takes up space, you can just talk to them. Lord knows how many times I've politely asked people to move their bags. I assume women don't do this enough to understand that it's not always because someone is being a dick.

Why do we need a campaign to have a conversation?

Should there be a 'no manspreading' campaign on the London Underground?

Some people are calling on Transport for London (TfL) to start a campaign encouraging greater spatial awareness among the capital's commuters.

Other cities use signs to ask people to not take up too much space when they travel but London's transport bosses believe such things are not necessary.

There's two things listed here.

Manspreading
Space Awarness

One applies to everybody, one to just men. Any guesses which the TfL will choose to address?
