On the contrary, when someone throws out any "man-" prefixed, madeup word, I know the conversation is over and has been for a while. They save me time.

I usually respond with, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know. Can you go get your responsible guardian? I can continue discussing this with them".

It's just one out of many examples where feminists adopt male terms for anything negative, rather than using existing non-gendered terms. E.g.

traditional gender roles -> patriarchy
interrupting -> manterrupting
sitting comfortably -> manspreading
condescending explanation -> mansplaining

It's the same reason why they only use the world "masculinity" with the word "toxic" in front of it. It's why any example of a woman behaving badly is labelled, "internalised misogyny", so it can still be men's fault somehow.

Bottom line: feminists hate men with the heat of a thousand suns, and much as they usually try to deny their hate in public for political reasons, it seeps out through their language.

Wear the mantle proudly. Someone has to mansplain. How else are we going to hear thorough and factually correct explanations.

I was gravely disappointed when Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord accused Chief of Staff Russell Jackson of mansplaining. I still watch Madams Secretary but it is further tarnished. I guess I built up a tolerance knowing it was intended as pro-Hillary propaganda from the start.

Mansplaining is another effort by feminists to stop men from communicating with women. Good for them but bad for women, as always.

Mansplaining doesn't exist. What exists is feminists who can't handle counterargument, refutation, ethos, linear argumentation, dialectical reasoning, and logos. The rhetorical triangle is wasted on such folks. Calling effective rhetoric "mansplaining" makes it okay to duck out of difficult conversations where the interlocutor has something objectively of value or relevance to contribute that doesn't politicize the issue to the advantage of the feminist. End of it. If you're not up to the task of debate, go make me a sandwich.
