Imagine if I took part in a Men's Rights march, and my picture was taken and posted on a local news site. A female coworker from my company might see that, think I'm anti-female, feel uncomfortable around me and report that to my HR department that is run by feminist. They will investigate me for creating a distressing environment for the female coworker, and I would probably get terminated unless I took some extra diversity and inclusion seminars that our DEI department (yes, our company has a VP of Diversity and an entire department under her) deems is acceptable retraining per our DEI consulting company reference manuals.

If I lost my job I would not be able to pay the 20% of my income I owe as child support to my ex wife (who is perfectly capable of working but has no reason to because the feminist judge from family court decided it was my responsibility as the man to continue to support her). Nor would I be able to pay for the court mandated health insurance or extracurricular activities for my child. If I don't pay I go to jail.

I believe many men are in similar situations... The price is simply to high in a system that was built to treat men as a resource to be exploited.

None that I know of. I once joined a group that was supposed to be the largest men's rights organization in the world, The National Coalition of Free Men. I was warned that there was something seriously wrong with it and that the leaders seemed to actually stop any activism, but I joined anyway. I found that what it was is simply what is known as 'controlled opposition' and the men running it had previously been instrumental in creating feminist organizations, but then supposedly decided to create a men's group instead. It was a lie. They were simply corralling anyone who wanted to fight for men's rights and wasting their time and energy until they gave up and quit. That's what controlled opposition is. They waste your energy while making sure you never actually achieve anything. And that's been story of the men's movement for a long time.

Until a billionaire decides to back a real men's movement there won't ever be one with much power or significant achievements. Plenty of wealthy, powerful men were robbed in child custody and divorce cases, so they've gotten moderately involved in trying to change laws relating to that, but everything else they've just ignored. The feminist movement was created by the Ford Foundation, which has $16 billion currently, and makes sure that feminism always has as many lawyers and law makers as it needs to get what it wants.

I remember a demonstration for more parental rights by some men who were, however, shouted down by angry feminists.

I commented this one another post but it’s relevant here too:

Most men don’t want to be collectivist.

Men think and behave as individuals.

Most men vote for individual benefiting policies.

Men won’t suddenly just change, it will take massive societal changes and motivation.

Isn't weird that men are in charge and yet they're not advancing these men's rights?
