The political spin on this is that it's not possible to be horrible to your oppressors, and men are oppressors of women. Hate speech towards men is actually rightful criticism of the patriarchy...

Most of the time, when we generalize and use the word men, what we’re actually referring to is the effects of patriarchy. What we’re actually intending to communicate when we say “men are horrible,” for instance, is “the ways in which men are socialized under patriarchy, as well as how that benefits them and disadvantages everyone else, sometimes in violent ways, is horrible.”

But that’s kind of a mouthful, isn’t it? So we use men as a linguistic shortcut to express that.

And before you come at us with “But that’s generalizing,” it’s actually not. Because it is true that all men are socialized under and benefit, to some degree, from patriarchy.

(source: Everyday Feminazi)

Essentially, laws and rules aren't for them because they are also made by the patriarchy, who also tend to give them their allowances.

It's interesting that they have a picture of Malcolm X for their wallpaper. In his early life he was an outright racist toward whites. He literally called them "devils."

Malcolm's case is at least understandable. His father was killed by the Klan, his mother ended up in a mental institution and his teachers treated him like a chimpanzee despite his extremely high intelligence.

Understandable is not the same thing as justified, however, and this is where SJW's lose the plot. Malcolm X was not justified in hating white people.

Frederick Douglass, the former slave and abolitionist, never hated white people. He visited Ireland during the potato famine and realized that white people could be just as oppressed. Indeed in the US during the time period Irish Americans actually had to do the most dangerous jobs because blacks were considered valuable property.

Malcolm X abandoned his racism after visiting Mecca, where he prayed alongside whites. He realized that they weren't "devils", just human beings. We've seen similar outcomes when NeoNazis spend time with blacks; when Palestinians and Israelis work together for peace; and when anti-gay people hang out with gays.

This suggests that Malcolm (he remained a racial separatist even after abandoning hardcore racism) was wrong about segregation. It also suggests that SJW's like BLM are wrong about trying to reintroduce segregation in the name of "safe spaces." That will just cause blacks to view whites with even more suspicion and vice versa.

Can you be racist against white people? You better believe it. When two black men threw a brick at the head of truck driver Reginald Denny during the LA riots that was an act of racial violence. Was it an act of what "systemic" racial violence? No.

Nevertheless, whites, or at least white males, are increasingly being subject to systemic discrimination. Media and educational institutions are rife with attacks against "white males", and corporate "diversity" efforts favor everyone but white males. When you help everyone but poor white males, poor white males will eventually become the most disadvantaged group.

You can gussy it up however you like, but that is institutional discrimination against white people.

And before you come at us with “But that’s generalizing,” it’s actually not. Because it is true that all men are socialized under and benefit, to some degree, from patriarchy.

She's right it's not "generalizing". It's essentializing. Generalizing would be something like "Men are more violent on average" (not true, but you get the point). It would allow for exceptions, perhaps even broad exceptions. But feminists won't even allow "not all men," such is their hate for the male of the species.

Does "patriarchy" benefit all men? Apparently not as much as it benefits women. In a system that benefited all men at the expense of women we would not see males being overrepresented among the homeless. We would not see FGM outlawed and MGM allowed. We would not see gynocentric education models. We would not see male sexuality demonized. We would not see fathers denied access to their children. We would not see men forced to sign over their bodies to the state in order to have the "right" to vote. We would not see men dropping like flies in a suicide epidemic.

It would certainly not be socially acceptable to relentlessly attack and abuse men.

I really have no idea what these women are talking about when they say "patriarchy". The term derives from "rule of the father." Fathers have largely been driven out of their children's lives. They are raised by single mothers, many of them feminists. If anything we are living in a matriarchy.

Apparently, even when a father has no contact with his children he is still responsible for the way they turn out. Women's actions don't have any effect on society at all.

Not only do we not live in "misogynistic" society, we live in a profoundly misandric society. This is outlined extensively in Paul Nathanson and Katherine Young's Legalizing Misandry text.

So, are feminists -- who have great institutional power -- "punching up" when they attack men? Nope. They are punching down. It doesn't matter if most of the people in power are male if they don't serve the interests of the rest of the male population, and there is no evidence that placing more women in power would solve anything either since women have in-group bias.

That sub you linked to is, ironically, a hate sub.

So they've redefined generalization so it's not generalization. It's not generalization if it's true! Who says it's true? US!

Yep, all 17.5M men in Canada, all 150M men in the US, from the youngest male infant literally just born, to the oldest nonagenarian, we're all complicit ... but that's not generalization ... at all.

Yes, this is it. Language is a patriarchal construct used to oppress women with its definitions and rules. Becoming more fluid so that words' meanings are directly related to feelings is the only path to true enlightenment.

It's all part of Feminism Inc's noble goal of imposing fundamentalist Shania Law on <spit> men, where patriarchal words and evidence are not used at all during trials in favour "always believing the 'victim'". Which essentially means an offended lady pointing at a man, who is always found guilty.

"We're allowed to say we hate men because men exclusively created a structure that we have decided benefits men and we dismiss all criticism to the contrary"

That's all I read when I see this trash. All of their theories are so abstract and unfalsifiable you can't even debate it. They'll just counter with one of their entirely invented phenomenons from their endless glossary of victimhood.

If you ask them "what conditions need to be met for our society to no longer be considered a patriarchy?" they almost always refuse to answer or divert away from the question, because their ideology falls apart if there are achievable goals that would require the movement to dissolve upon completion.

It's so hypocritical how feminists say it's not up to men to talk about how feminism should be because they don't experience what it's like to be women, but then they say that they should be the ones to decide what male issues are valid and they men should be allowed to address them.
