I was circumcised as an infant and I don't have panic attacks about an event I can't remember. Maybe the PTSD is that weird feeling I get when I look at hot women? Up until now, I assumed that was attraction, but now I learn its a misunderstood suicidal notion that the moment would be so much better with an extra inch of skin on my junk. God, I didn't realize I had soo many suicidal thoughts.
Let's be clear: I'm not saying circumcision isn't an issue. I'm saying the PTSD connection is loose.

For me it would be extra. Since I've never had it in my conscious life.

Large portions of the modern world have been circumcising for thousands of years. Are you saying that billions of people have been suffering PTSD and suicidal notions because of their circumcision all while getting up, going to work, providing for their family, living their life, fucking, laughing, crying, and having more babies?
Again. I'm not saying circumcisions not something we couldn't do without. I'm saying I don't buy this PTSD angle.

I must be extremely lucky not to be one of these men with terrible life conditions caused by small incisions decades ago.
I'm not depressed. I don't have PTSD. My pain threshold is good. I don't have that "pain" when I ejaculate.
Maybe that is why. It ain't happening to me so I can't see it.

I can not speak to something I'll never experience. Nor can any circumcised person. Which is why I believe any misgivings about a circumcised penis is manufactured by the man when they're old enough to form (or be told) an convoluted opinion about it.
My penis works great and sex is awesome. That it could be X% better isn't worth worrying about.
Should we stop mutilating little boys? Yes. Would I opt for circumcision as an adult? Of course not.
But that doesn't mean much of these life-long negative effects is true just because I don't want my junk cut into.

Yeah, I read that article. You mean correlation. Not causation.

You know what also modifies a baby's brain chemistry: Imprinting on a parent, bad diet, neglect, physical abuse, weather, allergies, and a thousand other things.
I did mention physical abuse, does this mean I'm losing my own argument?! No.
Just because the brain has changed because of external damage doesn't mean it will lead to life-long emotional damage.
When I was old enough to crawl, I crawled off ledge and just about died from the fall. I'm sure my brain chemistry was changed by that too. And when I was six, I literally cut off my finger accidentally (reattached). Another incident that I'm sure changed my brain chemistry.
When I raged against my family's stupidness as a teenager. When I fell in love for the first time. When I fell OUT of love. When I had sex for the first time. When I drank enough to pass out. When I was in a car accident.
After all those devastating events that changed the fabric of my reality and most likely altered my brain chemistry permanently. AND I've had my penis circumcised.
Yet I'm not suicidal. Nor am I depressed. Or suffering anything like PTSD. Maybe I'm an exception.
The causation key to this subject is that the effect of circumcision (other than those which have clearly failed in some way leading to infection or other problems) is detrimental to the function of a person throughout their life. And I'm saying that that book, your statements, and your quotes do not present sufficient evidence for me to believe the statements given.
