I need help finding a specific case where a man was killed due to his abusive wife and police intervention.

I remember the story as follows. The couple had been in disputes before, with the wife already shown to by physically abusive. The husband calls police when one night she takes out a knife to stab him. The police arrive and shoot him to death, ignoring the wife stabbing him.

I did have his case bookmarked, but I switched browsers and thus lost it. Any ideas/names people?
