If true there should be a big difference in incidence of SIDS between the UK and the US, with its high circumcision rate, so I looked into it.

UK rate is 0.27 per 1,000, which would then be 27 per 100,000. US rate is 92.6 per 100,000. Both figures from 2015. Those rates include deaths of unknown cause along with official diagnoses of SIDS. 60% of the British rate is officially SIDS, the American official rare for SIDS is still 39.4%, and has been declining in tandem with an anomalous increase in undiagnosed deaths, implying underreporting.

So it looks like the US rate is somewhere between 40% and 300% above the British rate.

Obviously it would be better if we could get a breakdown by sex, see if the difference is accounted for by boys or is agnostic of sex. The UK figures have boys twice as likely to suffer SIDS. The CDC give a racial breakdown, but not one by sex. I also can't find a British one done by race, which might single out the effect in ethnic minorities more prone to circumcise.

From the NIH:

(Everywhere we looked we saw that significantly more males than females died because of SIDS) ... however, higher mortality among male infants should not be considered a characteristic feature for SIDS.

Which sounds like a slick way of saying, "when we factored in deaths coded as SIDS with a coincidence of circumcision we found the rates were comparable".

There are many correlations between SIDS and circumcision. These are NOT from the link. This information is out there in the medical community.

There is a male SIDS gender bias.

groups that practice high male circumcision rates, such as USA whites, will have higher SIDS rates compared to groups with lower circumcision rates.

SIDS rates will also be higher in USA states where Medicaid covers circumcision and lower among people that do not practice neonatal circumcision and/or cannot afford to pay for circumcision.

If that's not an obvious correlation I don't know what is.

But there's more evidence:

Another mechanism that can explain the SIDS toll following circumcision is the loss of ~1–2 ounces (oz) of blood out of a total of ~11 oz that a 3,000 gram male newborn has, the equivalent of ~1–2 blood donations in an adult. Excessive bleeding is highly common in circumcision with reports range from 0.1 to 35% in neonates. However, even moderate bleeding puts the infant as risk, and, being an inherent part of the procedure, it is not reported as a complication.

Male neonates subjected to circumcision can experience severe cardiorespiratory pain responses, including cyanosis, apnea, increased heart rate, and increased pitch (fundamental frequency) of cry (as high as 800–2000 Hz) associated with decreased heart rate variability, i.e., decreased vagotonia , a likely risk factor for SIDS.

Post-circumcision, tactile hypersensitivity increases due to post-surgical and -traumatic mechanisms that contribute toward allostasis and the risk of SIDS.

Sound familiar? I've heard an awful lot of hate directed at men for a relative inability to identify and describe emotions, for lack of emotional awareness, lack of social attachment, and lack of interpersonal relating.

15% of all sudden infant death syndrome in the UK is linked to circumcision according to a new study, this raises the number of deaths circumcision causes each year by including those who die later from the practice as well as those who die relatively immediately.

45 children every year die from SIDS caused by circumcision, adding to the 20 per year who die from it directly.

65 children per year, which if counted alongside homicide statistics, accounts for around 10% of all murders in the united kingdom, and the overwhelming majority of child murders, it also makes it the most common form of hate-crime murder (stemming from misandry). This, despite murder increasing dramatically last year due to a 33% increase in the number of murdered males. (Murder of women has remained static). If projected back to before this year, it would account for almost 15% of all murders in the united kingdom.

This form of murder is entirely legal and mostly unregulated.

That's without taking into consideration the 45% of circumcisions that cause non-fatal complications. (Including cases of brain damage following contracting herpes.)
