I've been a member of this subreddit since the beginning of the year. In that time, I've been reading the horror stories of other men who are much worse off than myself as a result of women's actions, and I used that as a basis for a college research paper on the topic of Men's Rights. I have also lost trust in two of my closest female friends as a result of their actions (not worth going into detail.) I can't stand living in fear, but this knot in my guts just won't go away. I'm terrified of the negative consequences, and I am reluctant (or perhaps incapable) of trusting the women I've met recently.

There is a common sentiment expressed in many places here that the best thing to do to protect yourself from negative legal consequences is to shun women entirely, the whole MGTOW movement. Well, unfortunately, I really enjoy the company of women both as friends and romantically. I can't go my own way without feeling like I've lost more than I've gained. I want to find a way to have trust in women again and dispel fears that have cropped up in the wake of learning how much "privilege" I actually have. I don't know how to do that.

So please, anyone out there with any advice or tips on how to get over my fearful hesitation, regain trust, and start having healthy relationships with women again, I'd appreciate anything you've got for me.

To those of you who have no such advise, I'd rather you not reiterate here the reasons to be distrusting and fearful. There's enough of that in the rest of MensRights. Thanks.
