So, I've recently decided to take Men's Rights activism out into the world and talk to my friends, acquaintances, and the occasional stranger about the various challenges men face in society. While I find that my thoughts and ideas are generally accepted by my peers, the tone of voice and intensity I bring to bear when talking about a subject that stirs deep passions within me is occasionally more abrasive than people can handle. To put that more plainly, I find that some people (particularly female feminists) may agree with my ideas but are still put off by my direct and confrontational style of debate when it comes to these issues.

I was wondering if some more experienced MRA's might have some tips for engaging feminists (or other less open-minded individuals) in intellectual discourse while not initially putting off potential converts to the cause by appearing too confrontational.
