I think you're a bit extreme - yes, bikinis can be pretty revealing, but what is she supposed to be wearing at the beach? A burkha? I can understand how you can dislike it, but not accepting that a gf wears a bikini at the beach feels a bit out there to me, and I think you will have a hard time finding a gf who will go along with not wearing what is considered "normal beach clothing".

You can't (in a functioning relationship, in our day and age) tell her who to see, or what to wear, but you have full right to have boundaries that you do not accept in a girlfriend. -You have full right to say "I will not be together with a girlfriend who can not accept my boundaries". - And the same goes for her.

I understand your aversion to your gf showing herself off in skimpy/overly sexy clothing to "random internet dudes", though - that does not seem healthy. (depends on How sexy, of course - anything can be sexy to some people)

This is tough because I'm not a guy. I am all for men's rights but in this case I can actually see her point of view too. It's a bit annoying when a guy fusses about what you're wearing. But then is she posting just for attention - an attention seeker is no good to date in the long run, or does she have a message in the content she's posting. I wouldn't break up a good relationship over this but it's your right to, I suppose you guys might not be compatible.

She has the right to dress as she pleases.

You have the right to break up with her for any reason or no reason.

You don't have the right to make her change her behavior.

You can't surely regulate what she wears but thinking bikini isn't revealing and not respecting self restraint in a monogamous relationship isn't worth it if at all

She's allowed to wear whatever she wants. You're allowed not to like it. You're incompatible and you've broken up. Ruminating on her behavior will not help, redirect that energy into moving on.

You shouldn't tell someone how to dress or behave. Unless the person is a minor and the other the parent.

If you have conservative views on how to dress and behave, it's best to find someone who shares those views. However, sometimes one partner may want to express themselves more liberaly. The partner should not dictate what is allowed because that can feel or be oppressive and controlling and can lead to unhealthy behaviors and relationships. Instead, compromises should be made. A time and a place to allow more freedom in personal expression and the people who can view that, whether in a public or private setting of known people.

This goes for both genders.
