We were luck this time that only males were affected and not anyone important.

Outside the headline, the article was gender neutral. I guess they had to mention the gender but knew too much about men and boys would turn people away.

So the abuse and torment of boys by religious zealots isn't restricted to the Catholic Church. Good to know. I hope this story gets more coverage because atrocities like this should be confronted. The gender shouldn't matter and yet...
