Foreword

I recently watched Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix. Generally it's a pretty good show, but I did start to notice some political stuff here and there and then it just became unbearable.

The show is about a couple where the woman is a zombie and has to eat people to survive, so they kill bad people only. In the first seasons it was Nazis which makes sense. They're usually the go-to bad guys for pretty much anything.

Then I watched Season 3, Episode 4 and came to this scene (notice the MRA logo and the husband's soyboy smile):

It's nothing new that this is becoming the mainstream's view point, but I was really surprised at how blatant it was. I wanted to find out more about what was behind this so I found this from the creators of the show:

Another thing that happens this season is the Nazis are on to Joel and Sheila, so they have to find a new group of bad people to kill, and one of their most prominent victims ends up being a guy who's a domestic abuser and a vocal misogynist, and they lure him to a fake men's rights meeting.

They then go on to explain the usual story about how white men need to shut the hell up because they're white men. It's apparently impossible to even imagine that men could have problems too.

Closing

Feminism used to be about women's right to choose their own lives (which I fully support), but now it's about suppressing men. They want men to have the same role in society as women had a 100 years ago. Instead of paving the way themselves they just want to step on men to get where they want to go.

As I mentioned there's nothing new here but how should we react to it? Do we react at all? When this sort of stuff creeps in everywhere it's no wonder MRAs and men in general are unpopular.
