So I see multiple problems here. First off, these men need to be better educated about sex, which is a problem in the US in general. Second, there really should be more options for male contraceptives.

I remember when there was a study for male birth control shots that was done a while back. Sadly, the study was halted, due to the fact that men were experiencing a large number of side effects, such as pimples and mood swings.

Some mood swings in particular were VERY bad. One man even developed severe depression and another attempted suicide. Conveniently, people mocked the men that dropped out for being "pussies," even though the side effects were definitely not safe.

The “pull out” method — also known as the “withdrawal” method during sex — is being used by twice as many men as a decade earlier.

While 10% of unmarried men between the ages of 15 and 44 used this form of birth control in 2002, that number jumped to 19% in 2015, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

If this is true, then 1 in 5 guys are fucking idiots.

If they think paying for a rubber is expensive, just wait till they get hit with a child support bill.

I hate STD's and children, but I also hate condoms. If there is anything that will make me want to not fuck and just jerk off instead, more than a pain in the ass female. It's a condom.... We really need something better than this because I can't wear these fucking things anymore.

Here's my sentiment about this. I've been doing it with my fiancee for a year and a half now, and we've had a lot of success with the pull out method. It peaked my interest one day when me and a co-worker were talking and the subject of sex came up. He said he used it successfully for 9 years now and still has no child, so I started wondering if condoms were a gimmick. We've only had one scare within that time frame.

Funny enough, we had 3 scares with condoms where they broke on 3 different occasions and so she used the morning after pill.

Now I'm not saying that condoms are a complete scam or anything, but it seems that the truth about the pull out method is bent in favor of condoms, and other contraceptives. I'm also not saying that you should use it on just anyone, but if you're in a stable relationship with someone that you can trust, then it should be fine.

If you aren't in a stable relationship and are sleeping with numerous women, you will still need the protection aspect of the condom, so definitely use one. That, and condoms are accepted more frequently when it comes to sex.

Sexual protection is a two way street, and I think men should honor that.
