I literally don’t even get where the whole “He’s a man so they praise him for simple things”, I’ve never once in my whole life seen a man or boy praised for doing the bare minimum unless he was a toddler. It’s usually girls and women that can go the bare minimum or just exist and people praise her, for example getting a job. People are like “Well women didn’t have the opportunity to work in the past so we celebrate” but honestly all their celebrating is an adult getting a job. The thing their supposed to do.

Its the same as when we appreciate and applaud women who go into and strive in a male dominated field. Just imagine if men said “most men are expected to do ... but just because a woman does it she gets extra praise cuz she’s a woman.”
