I am happy to say I found a place where SOMEONE notices and discusses so many of the things my male friends with brains do. I would like to pose a question/comment as someone new.

  1. The main "backlash" if you will regarding the MRM is the feminist/female threatened/defensive stance that the movement simply seems to wish for further "privilege". It seems to me that, as with any movement, framing the stance correctly is absolutely key, and that any association with those who simply go berserk generalizing and bashing all women is counterproductive. It hurts the movement and removes credibility. Naturally, while I realize this is wholly unavoidable, is there a guideline or statement separating those types from the intelligent and logic-based folks who may be taking the "lead" for this movement?

  2. Who would be the authors I might find who write about these issues in a reasonable, researched, and sociologically-studied way?
