The proven false (dismissed as unfounded) rate is 2-8%. The proven true (conviction) rate is similar. There is not enough evidence to confidently say in 85%+ of cases. Anyone telling you that at least 92% of accusations are true because only 8% are proven false is likely ignorant or evil.

I can't find much about it but that being said false rape allegations is still a relatively new in modern society especially since claiming a woman lied about being raped is taboo I doubt you will find any accurate data on false rape cases for now

This is entire anecdotal but the few false allegations I've seen and my one experience with it; was that it was never reported. They simply told people and encouraged "white-knighting", depending on the court of public opinion so to speak. It's kinda insane being hunted down and attacked by people you've never met.

It's not just that these statistics are false, they're also hugely misinterpreted yet feminists have been using it as the main crux of their arguments against MRAs for years and I'm annoyed with myself for not catching out something so obvious but thankfully others have been on it.
Feminists not only do not read these statistics properly they do not know the difference between being charged for a crime and being convicted. What feminists get angry most about is the idea that the rape convictions are low I think some of the numbers I've seen from them put it at 8%. They actually think that every man that walks free after having their charges dropped is a rapist escaping justice. This is not an exaggeration, this is why they get so angry over MRAs even mentioning these statistics properly and talking about false accusations because they really do think that 90% of rapists are walking free because of the 'patriarchy'.
This also explains why they campaign so hard and constantly interfere in cases to try and get men jailed regardless of whether or not sufficient evidence is there to convict them. It's very important to understand their mentality if you want to know why they keep bringing these statistics up.
They bring up the 2% - 8% false accusation statistic because they think that the rest of the men involved in these cases are guilty rapists and that is the only reason. They haven't taken into account for one second that there simply wasn't any evidence to convict them or that they might in fact be innocent because they're so sure of themselves.
It's going to turn out to be a bigger scandal than the 1 in 4 rape/sexual assault statistic for campuses.

False rape allegations are very uncommon. They do happen but not very often and just because occasionally they do that doesn't mean we shouldn't take any allegation of sexual violence seriously.
Can you explain how exactly these statistics have been used to discriminate men?
I'd say the amount of women who experience sexual harassment is much higher that 25-30%, I'd say every single woman I'm friends with would have at least one story of sexual harassment.

The common stat is 1 in 4 for women and 1 in 6 for men.
And false allegations are not "rare". You can argue over semantics about what counts as "common" but the commonly cited stat of 2% to 8% is nothing to scoff at. And that's before you dig into it and start considering some of the points that other people brought up in the comments here.

The number of reported accusations that are PROVEN false is generally accepted between 2% and 10%.
The number of reported accusations that are PROVEN true is 2.17% (according to RAINN).
That leaves at least 88% of reported rape accusations that could be false, but could also be true. We just don't know.
We do know that the number of proven accusations are at least on par (the number true are the same as the numbers false). At worst, 5 times as many accusations are proven false as are proven true.
The actual number of false accusations is unknown, but the stats we do know... doesn't look good.
