Back in 2014, the terrorist group, Boko Haram, kidnapped 276 girls from the school in Chibok, Nigeria, who were then used for multiple things. Within a matter of days this reached national media in the US, leading to the launch of the #bringbackourgirls campaign with support of the Obamas, Hollywood, etc. This has been so traumatizing to the world that last year in May, we were talking about the kidnapped girls. While tragic to say the least, it is arguably more tragic to see how neglected the young boys who were kidnapped were. Neglected to be shown by the mainstream and TV media, a reported 10,000 boys had been kidnapped in three years alone, according to the PBS News Hour back in April 2016. While "some were reported to kill, murder or rape, others were starved, beaten, and converted to Islam."

How can this just now be coming out within a year or so? Why aren't these boys a huge concern to us? Does this mean men and even boys aren't of as much value nor concern to society? Tell us what YOU think.
