Reddit has apparently created an algorithm which detects "vote brigading". One of our users was banned (and subsequently unbanned) today; and they are not the first. Whenever you link to other comments or submissions, please use the "np" prefix. E.g. http://www.reddit.com/r/WTF becomes http://np.reddit.com/r/WTF.

It is also important to read the rules. While linking and voting on content is not prohibited, doing so for the purpose of vote manipulation is. So be careful, and if you believe you have been banned in error by this new bot, please contact the admins here or here.

Just to note, for those who are unaware of how Reddit works. Bans by admins and apparently this bot are not controlled by us mods. We can't undo the ban. Additionally, the bans are called "shadow bans" because you will not be immediately aware of the ban. All your comments will get removed by default (though you will not see this).
