This post has been removed because the title does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.
If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable.
So please don't do it. Take the time to describe your link, and save the time of hundreds of other people.
When making a title, it's best to assume the reader doesn't know what you're talking about - but don't go overboard with every detail. Then check if there are any words you can cut out without losing any important information.

A racist, misogynist liar
VS
A slimy, two-faced liar
Worst ELECTION in recent history
[β]The__Tren__Train 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
no evidence that he's a racist.. or a misogynist really....
hard to take what you say seriously tbh.
[β]ckershaw6 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Funny how you knew who I was talking about.
Have you really listened to anything that heβs said since 2016? I think that you are the difficult one to take seriously.
[β]The__Tren__Train 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
some examples would be good... but I bet you won't post any
[β]ckershaw6 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
He called black people lazy. His real estate company also tried to avoid renting to blacks in the 70s. He also said that 15,000 Haitian immigrants βall had AIDSβ and that Nigerian immigrants would never go back to their βhutsβ once they saw the United States.
Would you like more?

citations needed...
with all the bs being pumped out about the president, gonna be needing some sources.
[β]ckershaw6 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
ny times article
I guess the real citation would be trump saying it but idk
Heβs also defended white supremacist and racists or been slow to denounce them and their support for him. This stuff isnβt hard to find.
[β]The__Tren__Train 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
ahhh yes, 'sources say'..
perfect. the same New York Times that says that boys will murder their fathers and rape their mothers.
and sure, Trump didn't immediately disavow Duke.. you can call that playing politics I suppose? maybe Trump didn't actually know who he was?
There's a picture of Hillary sharing a peck with Robert Byrd, and I didn't see you call her a racist..
[β]ckershaw6 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sheβs racist. I could go on about both of them. But she tries to hide it.
Youβre the one that asked for sources...had I not given any you would have attacked me then. I guess the only way you can know things in the past is by being there? Because you canβt trust any sources. Also, the New York Times is one of the most highly reputable and well known newspapers in the world.

Trump may or may not be a chauvinist but I see no evidence that he hates women.
Hillary on the other hand clearly hates men and, well, pretty much everyone else. I find her more loathsome even than Trump because she has a Machiavellian intelligence that he lacks. Not that it did her any good in the long run: unlike most psychopaths she lacks good acting ability.
As you say, worst election in history.

My mother is still convinced that Hilary Clinton lost because she's a woman.

A chimpanzee would be better than the moron running the country now. My second grader knows and speaks better English than that idiot. Oh sorry, speaks American to all you idiots.

Bad candidate. The vast majority of Trump voters I have spoken to voted against Hillary, not for Trump. Many of them are regretting it. And quite frankly, this man is doing more harm to men's rights than he could ever do to help it. His behavior is childish and immature, and just reinforces the notion that men are unfaithful liars
[β]bufedad 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
The only President who's administration has done anything for Men's Rights (getting rid of the Dear Colleague Letters). Yeah... how exactly is that trumped by his behavior?
[β]Vwar 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
The only President who's administration has done anything for Men's Rights
That's absurd. He did one positive thing, great. Hardly qualifies him as a men's rights supporter. In the meantime he is harming men and women in countless other ways, just like every other plutocrat douchebag whom elites select as the puppet in chief.

Never claimed it did.

Yeah, keep your politics to yourself.
[β]Vwar -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
lol. You just got through saying that Trump is the "only President who's administration has done anything for Men's Rights." That's an explicitly political statement and retarded to boot.

Name something another administration has done for Men's Rights?
[β]Vwar -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
All administrations are more or less anti-male. Occasionally a politician will push something positive. Eg Obama -- a warmongering banker's puppet and feminist -- nevertheless did something positive when he tried to pass a law that would prevent men from being imprisoned when they were out of work and couldn't pay child support. Republicans blocked it. On the other hand Obama introduced "dear colleague."
[β]bufedad 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
So, Obama did nothing for Men's Rights. Any administration actually do anything for Men's Rights?
[β]Vwar -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Obama tried to do something for men's rights -- specifically trying to keep poor men who were behind in child support out of prison -- while simultaneously opposing men's rights on the issue of campus sexual assault. Republicans blocked the first effort.
Trump tried to do something for men's rights; I say "tried" because it is not yet clear whether the repeal of "dear colleague" will stem the tide of campus rape hysteria and kangaroo courts (some universities are openly opposing the education secretary). So that is the corollary: whenever one party tries to help men in area (a) the other party will oppose them. But both parties will join hands and sing Kumbaya if we're supposedly helping women.
Point is that it's not black and white -- and yes it absurd to suggest that Trump is the "only" President who has ever supported the rights of men. FDR, for example, made it legal for men (and women -- but the vast majority of workers were men) to unionize. Technically this should already have been legal, since the Bill of Rights allows for free speech and assembly, but unions were effectively outlawed for much of American history.
The issue of due process rights is actually a great example of how people on the right and the left get it right and wrong at the same time: people on the (current, quasi) left have a tendency to favor diminishment of due process in the case of men accused of sexual assault, while people on the right have a tendency to favor diminishment of due process in the case of men accused of terrorism. Back when there was an actual left, they supported due process period, as did right-libertarians.
This demonstrates how political biases are easily exploited by whatever party happens to be in power. Men get the shaft regardless.

Tried. Trump did.

Legislation helps, but public sentiment can make or break. Imagine if we decided to announce all the egalitarian, reasonable men's rights rules that we often discuss on here (equal parenting, no alimony, reasonable child support, male rape, punishing false rape accusations, real equality of public, etc) and legislated it in one sweeping reform bill. How long and how aggressive would the opposition protests be? The problem isn't what he may have done, the problem is that Trump is a slimy piece of shot that is so immoral and such a sensitive snowflake that he can't take jokes from a comedian without acting like he was shot. He lies so much he can't keep his stories straight. He is unfaithful to his friends, family and the prostitutes he pays off. He is not my president despite being elected by my country. I feel an endorsement of him as president is an endorsement of his behavior and I refuse to condone everything he has done.

Legislation helps
Equal legislation and equal enforcement are all that matters in the long run.
[β]mrwhibbley 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree.
[β]SC2sam 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Public sentiment us being grossly manipulated against trump and it's just so damn obvious too which makes all those bandwagon "trump am bad" people all the more pathetic. Hate the guy because he did something wrong, not because you were told to hate him.
[β]mrwhibbley -4 points-3 points-2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It is not that I am being told to dislike him. It is that the actions that he does, and the statements that he makes, any easily provable falsehoods that he claims are making me dislike him. He is the most blatant liar, to the point where I cannot understand why anybody without a mental illness would support him. There are many things he has said that I actually would support if I felt that everything coming out of his mouth wasn't garbage. I am actually a conservative meaning of moderate, but, anytime you criticize Trump, instead of having a civilized conversation, the Trump supporters gang up and start calling me a liberal snowflake, which is far from the truth as it can be. The simple fact is that when presented with evidence, a Trump supporter will often do mental gymnastics to justify their beliefs. I stopped believing him within a couple of months of his campaign. I hope that his presidency goes down in flames and he ends up in jail.
