It seems like every article about a Men's Rights problem has a caveat in it like this. I find that very interesting and particularly because of how men's problems are often dismissed as non-existent.

This will not last. Woman that see the positive need for fathers in their childrens lives most likely appreciate and acknowledge the skill that modern fathers have. They are approaching parenting with the same focus and determination that made men successful in other avenues in the past.

Non-feminist like this because it will only lead to a more complete and positive upbringing for children.

Feminists hate it because it threatens an area of power and control that only they want dominance over.

It is something that more and more people are seeing. Fathers (single included) being absolutely great with their children. Modern fathers laugh at the stigma of the '50s father figure who only punishes and provides. It will turn around.

As a single mother, this (society's attitude, not the study) burns me up. Single fathers are just as competent! In fact, some of the single fathers I know are far more competent than their child's mother. Grrrrr.

I know probably 0 percent of you want to hear a sob story from a teenage girl..but here it goes anyway. When I was 9 years old. NINE. My mother got sick. And she was ill for 3 years. During those 3 years..she did nothing but sleep. She did not even speak to me. And my father steped right up to the plate. Even took me bra shoping when I started to..erm..devople..he even got a tad bit more emotional. Because mom would get into boughts where shed scream in pain and I would lay in my father lap and cry and my father is a musclre biker with tatooes and where's his leather. But he took on the role of mommy and daddy for his little girl. Nothing oon this earth could possibly lead me to believe that a man is not as natural as a parents as a mother. JUST BECAUSE HE IS A MAN.
