Fuck that, you're dad sounds like an abusive asshole like my dad. Crying is not an indication of anyone's worthiness of a man. If you need to cry, cry. If you don't, then don't cry. Express your emotions as you see fit and don't let anyone judge you for it.

If you two are underage then the beat thing either of you can do is whatever you can to stay out of his way. Don't get yourself into situations where he has a reason to hit you.

As for the crying, it has zero to do with manliness, except that women judge men who cry as weak. Real men don't judge other men as weak for crying.

Everybody is manly enough when they are born as a male or identify themselves as a male. Others are nobody to judge and say how 'manly' you are.
