The author of this ABC news article is a radical feminist with a long history of hatred of men and boys, who supports the violent feminist rhetoric of hate speechers like Clementine Ford.

The voting in Australia can not be broken down by gender, so this opinion is based on the authors sexist bias and gender hatred. Pre-poll surveys (usually based on very small samples, and highly subjective instruments) and post poll surveys (none out yet) do not support this authors sexist rant.

As someone not familiar with Australian politics, I have no idea what the article is trying to say. The horrible scrolling panel layout isn't helping either.

Gender is the prism through which all issues are viewed in Australia. It’s an obsession. And yet there is never, ever a discussion of men’s issues, only problems with men. The only focus on men in politics is the white ribbon campaign telling men to stop other men abusing women. Like we’re all guilty by association.

Australian feminists, and a lot of what you might call regular women, are constantly pushing for female superiority. They know it isn’t equality but the justification given is that female dominance is needed as payback for years of male dominance before things get to a proper balance. Basically, they want power for a while and then will discuss equality. Yeah right.
