Yes, mandatory draft is something truly fucked up and insanely oppressive.

I'd hate it if women were to be mandatory drafted as well, though. I want less people being oppressed, not more.

Yes, this is a proxy war and soldiers at both sides are fighting for the elites. One elite is Putin and other elites are weapon manufacturing billionaires.

It is sad but man will die anyway. I gave up the hope to convince people. Sometimes we have to fight for our on to resolve the problem of our on people. We might be a few but better it is than be completely alone in this mess.

But there is an option. Precisely because of this, we guarantee satiety and care for those who surrender peacefully. If they did not commit any war crimes, like rape, plunder, murder of civil citizens, they may be exchanged for ukranian POVs if russian POVs willing so. If they do not want - for whatever reason - to return to russia, they will be given shelter in Ukraine, or in some other country. If they did not commit any crimes, are unwilling mobilized recruits, ad wish so, thay may be given Ukranian citizenship even. Of course each case will be dealer with individually. And it is a leighty process.

But it is better than be KIA ot get jailed in russia. We are not beasts, after all. Geneva and such.

I doubt so. I have heared, that it is kinda not easy for russian of any sex to cross the border with EU now. Visa restrictions.

I find it funny how everyone is supporting Iranian women on the Internet (which I also do), but no one seems to give a shit about what's happening in Russia.

The situation is not that different, it's about people being oppressed by a dictator and men being forced to go to war or face jail time.

There's the same kind of protests and police brutality.

Big difference is, there's no support for Russian men from outside. There's actual hostility when European countries say they might be dangerous.

What bothers me, and I'd like to be wrong, is that if they were women or any sex from say an Arab country, they'd be received with open arms. At least make it make sense.

I hope the internet is still up in Russia. Maybe they can organize and increase their chances of getting out of the country, hiding from the draft or just staying alive by surrendering. The same goes for Ukraine too.

I wish there is something that we can do.

Human history are filled with wars, how could feminist possibility claim women historically suffer more than men do?

Nothing changes in terms of Queen regnant, meaning feminist's claim that men did this to men are completely false. Even if the rulers are men, it still doesn't justify the victim blaming, would feminist excuse oppression to women if the ruler were female?
