This article finally admits the truth - that women in the US are not discriminated against but are favored, and bravely does what no feminist is willing to do - it asks feminists to declare that the goal had been achieved, and feminists should stop creating imbalances out of a belief that this "only balances" but acknowledge that the balance point was crossed and that continuing past that point is creating true discrimination, so that if feminism is not aspiring for female chauvinism but for equality it needs to stop demanding unequal favoritism for women and girls. But, the only argument she is giving for refraining from continuing to spread feminist chauvinism, is, that if feminism continues... women will not achieve sexual gratification. The idea that boys have a human right to grow up to be self-sufficient, happy individuals, is never mentioned. The idea that no society has a right to cause half its population to die ten years younger than the other half, commit suicide 4.5 times more frequently than the other half, be so poor and unsupported in poverty that almost all the homelessness would be from that half, not have equal access to cultivation and education, is never brought up. It is not brought up because the writer needs to convince those in power and those in power are women and specifically those women who think only about themselves and have developed a philosophy that does not include the humanity of boys and men. In their philosophy, "woman" is synonymous with "human" and "man" is defined as violence - "patriarchy", "oppressor". Men and boys are not included in the definition of human in this hegemonic philosophy, and therefore in the ruling philosophy, the only way to justify something as contributing to the overall human good is by explaining how it serves: women. Explaining how it serves men is tantamount to explaining how to increase global pollution - men in the philosophy of the modern US are an environmental contamination, not human beings. I am saving this article. There will come a time when equality will be reinstated and this type of texts will be shown to demonstrate how violent and inhuman these decades in Western history were.

Also, the writer is presenting the consequences of making radical feminism the ruling philosophy in the west as "unexpected outcomes". This is a spit in the face of every humanist on earth. For decades, both men and women have been explaining to feminists that they are not looking at the outcomes of their actions, and precisely what those outcomes are, including the fact that feminism is requiring men to be, what women hate and don't want.

Sorry for the re-post; I felt that the article's distorted perspective must be pointed out - no, it's not enough that feminists admit the true sexes balance, and humanists of both sexes cannot settle for that and praise someone just for acknowledging this. An explicit acknowledgment that boys and men are human beings, must be what both sexes persistently and relentlessly demand of any person, it is so basic that no person has a right to accept anything short of that.
