Privilege is a concept much-used in most arguments on the part of minorities seeking to explain the ways in which they are disadvantaged or oppressed, and much-ignored in most arguments on the part of majorities seeking to call them uppity.

Yeah, sounds like reasoned discussion to me.

meh, this article isn't education, it's indoctrination. I don't know if there would be any point to trying to fix the article up for them, since a glance through the revision history indicates that the article is rigorously maintained by a few people with an agenda.

a few examples:

The description of the education for boys is so wrong, but definitely captures the bias of the author. It's the way that boys' performance in school is deteriorating that bothers us, not that they aren't growing handlebar mustaches, lifting weights, and talking about football.

on healthcare: "Health care - one of the odder MRA claims is that the health system is geared for women, and against men. A glance at the money spent on men's issues would expose this claim as ludicrous." [citation needed]

I'm not an MRA, but I think the thing that you fail to understand is that your group can not join the liberal left because the main part of political correctness is feeling guilty for being straight, white, male or Christian.

Political Correctness can not survive if all groups are regarded equal. It can not survive if we start saying, "black people can be racist too" "Some whites are also poor and disadvantaged" "men can also be discriminated against" "Buddists can be just as evil as Christians"

That defeats the whole purpose of Political Correctness and leaves it powerless. Thats why atheism is a huge threat. If people become to dependant on logic, hypocrisies fall apart. And that is why atheism is beginning to become bat shit insane. It has to be directed by Politically Correct Leftists.

Its generally correct from the outsiders perspective. Insiders generally do not recognize the current crop of MRAs have in familiary to reactionary movements such as white supremacy.

Its the same old problem though, MRAs typically do not have a great understanding of feminism and tend to misconstrue it in order to make any sort of claim that feminism is bad or harmful when the reality is the opposite. Its classical reactionary thinking.
