I see feminists spouting this nonsense about the imaginary wage gap between men and women, usually to the tune of 77 cents to the dollar. Please note, this is delusional and doesn't exist. The reason why the male and female mean wage is different is simple. It's two-fold: 1. The male mean is driven up by the .001% of male CEOs and billionaires, MOST OF WHO STARTED THEIR OWN COMPANIES. Even if you argue that their are male male CEOs who are where they are due to a glass ceiling, that doesn't change the fact that 99% of men never get to be CEO or a multi-millionaire. The working class men struggling to makes ends meet doesn't deserve to be discriminated against because of a few rich men he'll never know or join. 2. Many low-income male are in prison, leaving their female peers to take up the minimum wage jobs left, which drives the female mean wage down.... however, since the men are in prison, they aren't counted, so the male mean doesn't go down. You CANNOT say sexism had any role whatsoever in men STARTING THEIR OWN COMPANIES. No woman was discriminated against when Bill Gates started microsoft, he just did it. The fact is, There isn't a single company in the United States that would pay a women less for job as a man. Not one.
