This year's local mothers day has finally started settling down. There has been a noticeable drop in news stories about how bad men are. The tone of social media seems to be settling down to 'normal' more positive views. The reports of wrongdoing by other genders are starting to pop up again here and there.

It is starting to seem like in the lead in to the date all of the possible good news for womankind is stored up and broadcast or reported on like Christmas carols sung at the door and played in stores. Fair enough. We should really all celebrate these milestones like parenthood.

At the same time though, the reporting on any crime involving men is cast in the worst possible light. The narrative in social media becomes more and more hostile. The language more aggressive. All the media I seem to see around father's day is about the problems with men seeking help with their problems.

This time of year it seems there is almost a measurable increase in the number of relationships ending, the reports of fighting between partners, The volume and number of loud conversations between partners held in public places.

This year though. Not sure if it was just the first time reporting got to the public or the first time it happened however there was a full nationwide police operation to arrest people involved in Domestic violence. Only one gender cleaned up though. Based on the available information from the public media there was a long period of information gathering. So the arrest phase was timed and planned.

Personally I don't condone assault between partners. And violent offenders deserve to be in the path normal LEO activities if the support network of personal networks, social workers, and other services fail. The timing could only be a coincidence right?

It would be wrong to say this was starting to turn into a Christmas holiday for the feminazi's and other militant groups hostile to any gender. I can only blame coincidence, because no one else seems to discuss it. It's really hard to measure these types of things when there is no one gathering the actual numbers. It's even harder to discuss these things as men's support groups are disbanded or outright attacked and removed from public sight.

Perhaps the time is coming where we will need to have closed door meetings with invite only attendee's and all electronic devices surrendered at the door and locked up until the meeting is over. The meetings would have to be held away from the public eyes. But of course there is no spaces that are restricted by gender alone. That would of course be descrimination.
