It's Canada. The victim is not taken seriously because he is male. He should identify as a woman (which is quite easy in Canada) and sue the heck out of the culprit.

I am all about fair game. 20 days off and lose 10 vacation. I would walk right up to her and do the exact same thing she did and file discrimination if the admin does anything beyond what she got.

Why is everyone here not satisfied with this? 1. The action was recognized and assault 2. Personally I think the punishment fits the crime 3. Even if you don't think it's enough it's progress

This is awful but women’s allegations aren’t taken seriously in the military either. A woman was recently murdered for coming forward about being raped
