It's a grey area but the reddit admins have basically supported the use of these bots as long as it's for the "right reasons"(tm) See also: brigading. Where hordes of toxic people can descend upon any subs they want without so much as a peep from reddit admins if they come from places more equal than equal. Meanwhile a single stray user arriving via a linking from a 'less equal' subreddit will get that whole subreddit scrutinized.

As the old saying goes "They think we are evil, we just think they're wrong". If someone is wrong you can still live with them, if someone is evil they must be attacked and driven out. Many of the big subs are all moderated by the same group of people who think anything less than blind adherence to the feminist religion is evil.

It's basically like after Trump won the presidency, my Instagram feed was full of "if you voted Trump, unfollow me". As well as a lot of insults.

Some people can't handle diversity of thought or facts that don't aline with whatever bs they believe.

OP, It's been years since that kind of behavior was not only condoned but also actively promoted. Mods on numerous subreddits deliberately take over and start modding in such manner to actively harass and at some moments they utilized personal messaged they exchanged with some members of MensRights to doxx them in real life and harass them.

A good number of these people who actively harass or employ shaming, doxxing or outright banning tactics in order to inflict either psychical or even physical harm, or hurt people's employment and living prospects... has achieved nothing in the end. MRM regrouped and reorganized.

They couldn't and cannot silence people and the only thing they achieved is that they literally cut off any channel they had to try to spew their propaganda. All they are left now is to have these people, often being feminists on public payroll in your nearby university, come over to this subreddit or various forums and chat groups, and try to spew their propaganda. When they do that, they get themselves into endless shitposts until they quit, or until their "paid experiment" (if they were paid to do that) expires.

In the end, that kind of attitude changes nothing. In fact, most people who post here, especailly those who are more active on other subreddits, have a throaway account. Now you know why.

Also, please notice how MRM and Men's Rights forums and other related content is often left free for everyone, even those who don't agree, to post. That's what wins in the end. Nobody, except bots and feminists, likes to be in an echo chamber. Any idea that ends up in an echo chamber is doomed to wither and die.

Reddit moderation is one of the worst I have seen. I have never been banned or moderated outside reddit but here its like Im suddenly a chinese citizen with no right to question anything or I risk breaking their made up rules.
