This article has one of the most misleading headers I've ever seen. Basically it just goes on to say that more testosterone effects the shape of your face and as a result makes these men more likely to want to dominate by speaking their mind.

This could have been about anything, why they chose something so negative absolutely blows my mind. A 'low testosterone' male could harbor the exact same racist philosophies and values, all this study says is that they're less likely to act on their beliefs. The article could have said "You can tell if a man is more likely to complain that a waiter got his order wrong by looking at his face".

Therefore, to the extent that a greater fWHR is associated with increased testosterone, fWHR may be a physical manifestation of dominance motives in males and may be best described as an inclination toward interpersonal social dominance and related behaviors [embedded references removed].

Among the ways men exercise dominant behavior is by breaking society’s rules. (“Neurological findings," the study notes, “have shown that high testosterone levels are associated with reduced activity in the orbitofrontal cortex, an area used in impulse control and inhibition.) And we, in turn, assume they’ll break them. Whether we know it or not, we know which men will break the rules because we know by the shapes of their faces which ones have more testosterone.'

First of all it feels like this is smearing the idea of standing up for yourself instead of just submitting to a life that you have no control over. When did this become such a taboo idea, and why? Well I know those answers... but it's more rhetorical.

Second of all... if there was an article written about how you could predict female behavior and make assumptions of future actions based on the way they look, a shitstorm would occur.
