Because feminism/SJW ideology are both internally inconsistent.

The point of both is to to subjugate men and benefit women in absence of merit.

I think it goes something like this:

A long time ago, a bunch of women pointed out some legitimate issues that they were facing. And so, society did the right thing and gave them sympathy for these issues and tried to help out. Upon seeing this, a bunch of corrupt people realized that they could take advantage of this process to "play the victim card" and get sympathy even when they are not actually a victim. Society continued giving them the benefit of the doubt since it had seen legitimate issues being raised before, but we have now gotten to the point that not enough people are willing to speak out against it for fear of being called a mean person. Kind of like a kid in school who always gets bullied and gets pity from the teachers because of it, but then one day the kid starts realizing that it is possible to take advantage of the situation by lying to the teachers and falsely accusing kids who weren't actually bullying just to get them in trouble for something they didn't do.

So now it is up to us to call out the people who are gaming the system and not allow them to push us around like this anymore.

Although sometimes interpreted as a term that dismisses anything masculine, toxic masculinity intends to refer to harmful behaviours society expects of men. An example of this is men having to surpress emotions, which in turn can cause higher suicide rates.
