What a stupid phrase and concept. I've seen it on bumper stickers, T-shirts, social media, etc. it's ridiculous to blindly trust someone purely because of gender and not because they're a good person who deserves trust and is worthy of it. I feel the same way about "trust men," I won't blindly trust any women or man I don't know just for their gender, and those I do it's not because of gender. Much like respect, trust is earned by being a good person who does things that merit trust and show you're a reliable person. Gender has nothing to do with that but with misandrists, being female overrides any sort of common sense or logic. It's ridiculous. Male or female, trust is earned and not granted on a gender basis. Men and women alike both earn it by being good people who do good things. Plenty of bad women and men alike aren't deserving of trust.

Seeing slogans like this brings back terrible memories of abuse I suffered from female teachers and staff members in schools. Yeah, like my third grade teacher who regularly abused and belittled me in class and encouraged other students to do so is a totally trustworthy person. I still have bad memories of those times and you can imagine how personally triggering a slogan like this is for me.
