Jesus, some of us are so used to being berated that we don't know when we are being abused or exploited, read it again - they are using a male rape victim as a tool to make points on behalf of female victims.

Yes and no. Yes, the ad acknowledges that boys can be raped. Yet as others have noted, the ad is not speaking out against sexual violence against boys or men but using a male survivor to speak out against sexual violence against women. As a male survivor, I find that disheartening. The ad not only treats male survivors as a tool for making a broader argument about violence against women, but it also implies that no one judges male victims of sexual violence, which is patently untrue.

Im glad they mention that it was a guy that got raped but most of what they went on to say was to more or less draw attention to the victimhood of women and even amplify it. Sorry but if they wanted to aim it more to draw attention to male rape victims they would have been better of using retorts that are actually used towards them instead of common ones used to illustrate female victim blaming.

Nothing there showing he was raped by a woman. Also he is an example of someone who was 6 years old, not an adult. Try again feminists.

This acknowledges the issue of rape affecting everyone. Great! +5 justice points!

But the "imagine if I was a woman" quip serves no purpose except basically say "I was raped, but at least I wasn't victim blamed" which suggests it was somehow "less bad". -4 justice points.
