Just curious, does anyone know if a vasectomy would mean your ejaculate cannot be tested for DNA? Obviously the sperm are no longer present and my understanding was the rest of the fluids don't have cells in them, but there still might a small number of cells.

I got a vasectomy done last October. My insurance covered most of the cost. I believe out of pocket was $80. No regrets at all.

Number 12 surprised me. I've been thinking about getting a vasectomy for a little while now, but I think I'll wait till more testing of vasal gel proves effective. I just don't think it's fair that I have to go through surgery to make sure I can't get my SO pregnant when all she has to do is take a pill.

If they block the tube that sperm travel up through, what happens to the sperm? Do the sperm like... pile up in the balls or something?
