Let me preface this with one line:

I believe in men’s rights.

I joined this subreddit hoping to be more enlightened about some more of the problems men face, discrimination-wise.

At first, that is what I saw.

I saw articles about unfair sexual assault allegations, articles about sexism in parental courts.

I am deeply saddened by some radical feminists

but I acknowledge that feminism is a force for good.

This sub feels like it doesn’t even see or realise that women are just as or more discriminated in society.

Now, I see an emergence of posts about smaller problems in the feminist community.

The new Gillette ad focuses on toxic masculinity, a term that means the toxicity of some men.

Toxic masculinity refers to the need to be overt about your sexuality and personality being ‘manly’.

It refers to dick wagging contests and not taking blame.

It refers to the shunning of ‘feminine’ qualities like crying or being emotional.

This sub becomes more and more like incels and mgtow members are invading the much needed men’s rights movement.

You don’t enforce men’s rights by impeding on women’s rights.

That is all.
