You. You can start doing something. You say someone, which implies you want others to do something. So you’ve got to start. Be the one to actively get something in motion.

Being against pride month is also being against men’s mental health month as many men are gay and have mental health issues. Pitting the two against each other is destructive for both causes. Saying « they » are against you disregards the experience of thousands of men. The rights of men are also the right of gay men and vice versa. What do you suggest should be done?

What do you want someone to do? They're both well established at this point, with a logical reason to happen in June.

Pride Month started out in the 70s as a series of marches to commemorate the Stonewall riots, since that was such a turning point for gay rights. The events gained in popularity over time, becoming less protest and more celebration. Pride became a recognized month in the US in 1999 by presidential declaration.

Men's Mental Health Month started as Men's Health Week by an act of Congress in 1994. The week chosen coincides with Father's Day.
